Information on the Cost of LASIK

LASIK Payment Options

Numerous studies show that one of the main barriers to LASIK eye surgery is cost.  LASIK can be expensive but is an investment that in the long run will save you money over years of eyeglass and contact lens wear.  You don't necessarily have to pay for the entire procedure up front.

Talk to your LASIK surgeon about the cost of laser eye surgery and LASIK financing options available. Some insurance companies offer discounts on the procedure.  Eye surgeons usually offer a variety of payment options to their patients. Many surgeons work with local and national banks to provide low or no interest monthly payment plans, or allow patients to pay for the cost of the laser eye surgery procedure in installments. Some of the better known companies that will finance LASIK include Chase and Care Credit.  If your employer offers flexible spending accounts, you can save money on LASIK by investing in one of these.  Be sure to tell your LASIK surgeon if you have a flexible spending account – he or she may have forms for you to fill out.
